TAB•WORKS is a multidisciplinary design studio working across architecture, fabrication, computational design, technical systems, and publication and book design.
The studio approaches design through a systems-oriented lens, considering how spatial, material, technical, and organizational decisions interact across a project. Work is developed through drawing, modeling, prototyping, and iteration, with attention to dependencies, constraints, and downstream effects rather than isolated formal outcomes.
TAB•WORKS engages projects at multiple scales, from pre-construction architectural studies and spatial planning to custom objects, interactive systems, and publications. Across disciplines, the studio focuses on how space, material, and systems respond to use, constraints, and conditions, allowing form and structure to emerge from those relationships.
TAB•WORKS was founded by Timothy A. Boll, whose work spans the conception, development, and realization of complex spatial and technical projects.
